Rex, the thing is that you need to actually prevent robots from crawling search pages, not only indexing them. The reason is that if you have a hundred of thousands of pages, you want to funnel the bots to the pages that matter. So only preventing from crawling is not helping too much. Cheers

As a follow up, you need to report a problem often...and you should choose several different reasons why...ie. it's closed, it has another listing, etc.

Thanks for the info. It doens't look like it's major difference between Google and Bing. It's probably not very hard to succeed in Bing if you have good Google rankings.

I've noticed that Yahoo puts even more weight in keyword rich domains then Google. How do you think about that topic?

Great solution, this should do the trick. We're usually trying to get the first page indexed as well, as it sometimes has some content referring to the product list below.

Hi there, I am very much interested on the SEOMOZ tool that you bloggedabout, and I am thinking of trying it as well. I would also like to share (I hope you don't mind) a simple tool that I am also using to drive more traffic and to increase my outbound links. This can also help in reputation management. I have been using ReviewAdder (www.reviewadder.com) which is a review publisher in geographilcally-specific areas like LA Yelp! which is perfect for local businesses. I hope you could try it ourr and see what I was trying to point out. Just a small tip...thanks!
